Spoils of War: Ode to a Refusenik Mother (1)
“Spoils of War” is a poem illustrated by a series of 17 panels commemorating the artist’s mother’s 1988 immigration from the Soviet Union to Chicago. Twenty-five years after that transition, "Spoils of War" invites its readers to join in celebrating feats like those of refuseniks and American activists in the name of individual pursuits of happiness. ArtOnBrighton Propaganda (BROOKLYN) (6)
A series of propaganda posters created for the ArtOnBrighton Art Festival on the boardwalk near Coney Island, and inside the NY Aquarium October 2011. Each branded with the motto, WITH GREAT FREEDOM COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY, a hybrid quote of Eleanor Roosevelt and Voltaire, speaking directly to the generation of immigrants whose turn it is to make it big in the new country. -

Die, Mauer for Berlin Wall (CHICAGO) (10)
