"Yes You Are" for dOGUMENTA

Arts Brookfield, New York City, August 2017

Margarita Korol creates a protected space for dogs and incorporates a loop of recorded sound—the murmurings of sweet nothings that multilingual owners use to comfort canines—to address an issue common in the canine community: anxiety. Korol hopes her piece will comfort dOGUMENTA visitors who may encounter social anxiety, how ever it manifests for them on the spectrum from fear aggression to skittishness, when meeting other furry friends in the show.
